Labirinto QC Terme San Pellegrino
Inside the sumptuous ancient palazzo home to the QC Terme San Pellegrino wellness centre, the lounge area has been newly furnished by LAGO. Offering an outstanding welcome and relaxation experience, it tells the story of this famous water brand with the red star. This new sensory experience was inspired by the traditional San Pellegrino water bottling process. The interior design project for this public space by LAGO echoes the layout of the conveyor belts used to bottle the water itself. It guides you along a route made up of modular, floating furniture. We have created a labyrinth of passageways and secluded spaces, each with its own purpose, made possible by the flexible concept behind these furniture designs.
The chosen products are all also iconic LAGO designs from the Air collection: simple, floating creations made from high-end materials on resistant tempered-glass supports. These entirely self-standing units leave the frescoed walls of this historic building untouched. The result is a striking yet featherweight overall look. We opted for neutral colours for the furniture to evoke a sense of historical grandeur: the use of amaranth alongside white for the bookcases tones with the frescoes on the walls and the tables in centuries-old Wildwood.
This LAGO design respects the extreme care and attention to detail in this historical public space. It manages to capture the heritage of the San Pellegrino brand, thanks a truly original set-up with a museum-like quality. The labyrinth is part of a larger LAGO project at QC Terme, which includes supplying furniture for the bedrooms and communal spaces at the QC ROOM Design Hotel.
