Daniele Lago

He was born in Asiago (Vicenza) in 1972. After completing his technical studies, he attended the Italian School of Design in Padua. The last of ten siblings, Daniele, after a volleyball career, entered the company in the early 2000s feeling the immediate need to generate meaning, not stopping at the simple production of furniture pieces. He immediately believed in a balance between people, nature and technology as well as culture as strategic development assets. With this vision, he guides the company over the years, moving from an exclusively family-run business to an innovative ecosystem with a strong orientation to merit, equity, openness and managerial contamination. In this way he transformed the small artisan LAGO into an international reality, with more than 200 employees and a turnover exceeding 60 million euros. Today he is President & Head of Design of LAGO SpA, a brand with more than 400 stores worldwide and a digital community of 25 million people.
